Race Car Front Wheel Carrier Design

This bachelor thesis deals with the construction of front wheel’s uprights of Formula Student racing car, Dragon 5 of racing team TU Brno Racing in particular. The thesis focuses on construction of the uprights and their parts. There are FEA simulation analysis made on chosen parts. Finally the configuration of this upright is compared with the previous one.

Kopecká This diploma thesis is divided into 2 basic parts. The first part is concentrated to exegesis of Book of Revelation, especially to 12th chapter. This first part contains 4 chapters - Elementary information about Book of Revelation, whis provide us the fundamental information about genre, its origin, literal background and historical influence of the text, in chapter called Language of the Book of Revelation we devote to translation and analysis of language, that author have had used. Gargoyles of the European cathedrals, their origin, and their meaning

The bachelor thesis deals with the origin and meaning of gargoyles as well as traditional mythology, where it explores the sources of inspiration for their creation. The work presents examples of the European steel cathedral builders' works, by means of which they describe the way of creation and creation of gargoyles in the environment of the stoneworks. It also looks at the history of gargoyles in architecture, taking into account their symbolic meaning as part of the Gothic cathedral. The practical part refers to the theme of the work, which follows the aesthetics and function of the original gargoyles. The work is made in 1: 3 scale, using clay modeling and subsequent firing. The thesis contains complete photo documentation related to theoretical and practical parts and sketch material.

Processing of Haptic model of fresco st. George with dragon

The theoretical part of the bachelory thesis focuses on the character of Saint George and the importance of his cult. The emphasis is put mainly on various ways of depiction of this saint in the European context and also in Bohemian countries. Full attention is drawn to the art of painting and wall paintings with regard to the topic of the practical part of presented work. Hence there is mentioned the issue of people with visual disabilities and, in coherence with that, haptic perception. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to make a haptic model based on the fresco of St. George and the dragon, that is going to work as an aid for the blind or purblind people. The model is made of burnt ceramic clay and coloured with acrylic paints. The created work will be placed in the monastic Church of the Sacrifice of Virgin Mary in České Budějovice as a part of the exposition "Haptic models for disabled people".
